Josh will become Bar Mitzvah August 18, 2007 at Temple De Hirsch Sinai in Seattle.
Josh is the son of Laurie and Michael Barokas and the brother of Aaron. His grandparents are Saralee P. Warnick of Tacoma and the late Alan Warnick, and Barbara and Morgan Barokas of Bellevue.
Josh will be a 7th-Grader at Evergreen Jr. High. He enjoys teaching his brother the art of throwing a 75-mph fastball. For his mitzvah project, Josh formed the team All or Nothing to climb the Columbia Tower for the fight against leukemia and raised over $6,000.
