Yaeli will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on June 7, 2008 at Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation.
Yaeli is the daughter of Antony and Rene Egnal, and the sister of Marc. She is the granddaughter of David and Verona Forman of Cape Town, South Africa, and Max and Lynette Langman of Cape Town, South Africa, and the late Joe and Selma Egnal.
Yaeli is a 7th grader at the Jewish Day School, where she is a member of the student council. She enjoys swimming for Bellevue Club Swim Team, wakeboarding, playing tennis, downhill skiing, playing football with friends, and spending summers at Camp Solomon Schechter. For her mitzvah project, Yaeli is donating money for microloans at Kiva.org and to the Children’s Red Cross Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.
