A taste of Torahthon
Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation hosts a half-day Torahthon on the theme “From Darwin to Madonna: Jewish Issues and Contemporary Life.” This event includes two sessions of workshops led by Rabbis Will Berkovitz and Bernard Fox as well as community members David Balint and Prof. Martin Jaffee. “Reformers of the world”
The Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Seattle Chapter presents a conference on interfaith relations called “Reformers of the World.” The emphasis of the event is on religious reformers, social reformation and ways to bridge the gaps between different faiths and communities through dialogue and mutual understanding. Speakers include Rabbi Anson Laytner, Pundit Mahesh Shastri Ji, Chuck Pettis, and Pastor Barry Keating. Everyone is welcome.
