I read the article “Questions about Judaism” (April 3) by Janis Siegel that was about the interfaith day at the Ahmadi Muslim Mosque. It is good to see faiths coming together to learn about each other’s faith, as we were so close to being on the brink of ignorance. Many people only took what the media showed as the truth. If that thought process continued and escalated, then ignorance would have become a huge ideology. However, this conference and others like it show that people are willing to come together and learn about the religion from people of that religion instead of another medium. Many thanks to your contributing writer for attending this program and I hope that more people may benefit from dialogues instead of constantly looking for debates.
