Emil celebrated his Bar Mitzvah on June 1, 2013, at Temple B’nai Torah in Bellevue.
Emil is the son of Dyan Simon and Eddie Talerman of Mercer Island, and the brother of Liv and Noah Talerman. His grandparents are Barbara and Michael Simon, Margaretha Talerman, and the late Alecsander Talerman.
Emil is a 7th grader at Islander Middle School. He enjoys playing soccer and basketball. For his mitzvah project, Emil is distributing toys and clothes to children in need through Eastside Baby Corner.
