Martin will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah on August 16, 2008 at Temple De Hirsch Sinai in Bellevue.
Martin is the son of Emmi and Matthew Kearns of Kirkland and the brother of Valerie. His grandparents are Bob and Bunny Rogers of Mercer Island and Alma Kearns of Seattle and the late Marvin Kearns.
Martin will be in the 7th grade at Rose Hill Junior High. His interests include basketball, football, swimming, skiing, playing piano and guitar and attending Camp Kalsman. For his mitzvah project, Martin is volunteering at the Kirkland Boys and Girls Club and will donate a portion of his Bar Mitzvah money to the club.
