Michaela will celebrate her Bat Mitzvah on August 30, 2008 at Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation.
Michaela is the daughter of Audrey Covner and Dianne Dougherty and the younger sister of Claire. Her grandparents are Arnold and Mickey Covner, the late Beatrice Covner and the late Robert Dougherty.
Michaela will be entering the 7th grade at the Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle in the fall. Michaela has participated on a competitive cheer team for several years and joined her team in competing at the World Cheer Championships last year. She also loves playing other sports such as volleyball, basketball and swimming. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Michaela loves to play with her dogs, cook, and jump into the freezing waters of Lake Sammamish as often as possible.
