Hoops for sick kids
The 6th Annual Ari Grashin three-on-three basketball tournament will take place at the Seattle Hebrew Academy gym on Sun., June 22. All ages and all skill levels are invited to play. The cost is $18 per player with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Ari Grashin “It’s OK” fund to benefit children with life-threatening illnesses. JDS carnival to introduce new athletic center
The Jewish Day School of Greater Metropolitan Seattle is celebrating the end of the school year and the completion of its new Greenstein Athletic Center with a carnival. Torah Day School’s annual dinner
The Torah Day School will host its second annual gala dinner featuring guest speaker Rabbi Jonathan Rietti. Rietti is a former educational consultant who has developed a curriculum that weaves Torah education together with Montessori methodology. Pride Shabbat 2008
The LGBT initiative of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle is co-sponsoring a Shabbat service with Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation in celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Jews and their friends, allies and families.
