Nicholas celebrated his Bar Mitzvah on August 2, 2008 at Temple B’nai Torah in Bellevue.
Nicholas is the son of Diana Stone and James Larus of Mercer Island and the brother of Jeremy and Micah. He is the grandson of Jane and Joel Larus of Sarasota, Fla., Estelle Stone of Chevy Chase, Md. and the late Joseph Stone.
Nicholas will be in the 8th grade at the Lakeside School. He enjoys reading and sports. For his mitzvah project, Nicholas collected books to donate to low-income children at Stevenson Elementary School in Bellevue. He also volunteered to help kids read in a classroom at Stevenson.
