White supremacist couple indicted

A grand jury in Portland, Ore. indicted white supremacist couple David “Joey” Pedersen and Holly Ann Grigsby on federal racketeering charges. Pedersen, 32, and Grigsby, 25, were arrested after a killing spree throughout Oregon, Washington and California, which left four people, including a 19-year-old man, Cody Myers, dead. Myers was murdered because, according to Grigsby, his name sounded Jewish. He was in fact Christian.
The 24-page indictment accused the two of being members of a criminal enterprise that aimed to promote a white supremacy movement by “purifying” and “preserving” the white race. The enterprise, according to the indictment, also targeted Jewish leaders and members of prominent Jewish organizations. Although there is no indication that the couple came close to killing any Jewish leaders, investigators have confirmed that Pedersen researched the names and addresses of Jewish organizations in Seattle, Portland and Sacramento, to identify potential targets. Grigsby appeared in federal court in Seattle on Monday, Aug. 20, and will be returned to Oregon to face federal racketeering charges.
