Singer/songwriter Michelle Citrin plays her set at a preview performance of the Taglit-birthright israel “Israelity” tour on Feb. 6 at Hillel at the University of Washington. Citrin was joined by Israeli band Coolooloosh. Subliminal, Israel’s hip-hop superstar, joined the performers for the rest of the two-week West Coast tour, which gave American audiences a taste of Israeli culture. The event kicked off Hillel’s own Jewish Arts month, which concludes with a festival on Feb. 28.
