Samantha will celebrate her Bat Mitzvah on April 14, 2007 at Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation on Mercer Island.
Samantha is the daughter of Mark and Sandra Brodsky and the sister of Wendy, Abigail, and Eliza. Her grandparents are Saul and Marilyn Anhouse of Louisville, Ky., Harold and Dorothy Brodsky of Warrington, Pa., and the late Wendy Brodsky.
Samantha is a seventh-grader at Chinook Middle School. She enjoys reading, cooking, sculpting with clay, snorkeling, volleyball and playing on the beach. She volunteers at Herzl-Ner Tamid’s Sunday school and is collecting books for the Books for Kids Foundation, a nonprofit organization that donates new books to school-age children.
