Florine and Annette, born June 14, 1929, are celebrating their 80th birthdays. They were born in Seattle to Norman and Zeena Griff and grew up in the Madrona area along with two brothers, Irving and Merle. Both graduated from Garfield High School and attended the University of Washington. Florine married Rabbi David Robins. They lived in Northern California and raised three children, Sheryl, Michael, and Rachelle. She now resides in Bellevue and is married to Earl Falk, a retired Marine pilot. Annette married Maurice Levin and lived on Mercer Island, where they raised three children, Debra, Gus, and Shira. Maurice died at an early age and she later married Sidney Cohn. After Sidney passed away, she married Loren Lewis, a business investor. They now reside in Redmond. Florine designed fashion and presented self-fashion shows. Annette’s business was called the Fashion Connection. She presented fashion shows in many different venues. Annette and Florine are celebrating their birthday with a trip to Lake Tahoe with immediate family. The celebration will continue locally later this summer for friends and family.
