Thanks so much for the article about where to find good falafel and other Middle Eastern food in Seattle (“Piece of the Middle East,” April 17), I wanted to point out an error in the caption on the photo that appeared on page 9.
Meditteranean Express, shown in the photo, is on Capitol Hill (on Broadway just south of Pike), and not the U. District as stated in the caption.
I live in the same neighborhood and this restaurant is one of my favorites. I’ve gotten to know the staff, who are wonderful. They have even made some dishes especially for me by advance request (notably, a salad I love called fatoush).
I hope that others will come to know and like this restaurant, and I wouldn’t want anyone to be confused by the incorrect caption.
