Zach will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah on June 9, 2007 at Temple B’nai Torah in Bellevue.
Zach is the son of Jane and Phil Shucklin of Kirkland. His grandparents are Gerry and Arthur Worth of Hooksett, N.H., Ruth Klein of Mesa, Ariz., the late Myron Klein and the late Lillian and Gerald Shucklin.
Zach is a 7th-Grader at the International Community School. He enjoys acting, swimming, soccer, skiing and playing the piano.
For his mitzvah project, he played the piano on Sundays for residents of the Kline Galland Home and is collecting DVDs, Girl Scout cookies and coffee to send to a unit of Stryker Brigade soldiers in Iraq, who shipped out from Fort Lewis, Wash. He also provided several hundred Beanie Babies for the troops to hand out to Iraqi children.
