As the year draws to a close, all of us at the JTNews and jew-ish.com would like to you wish you a happy Hanukkah. While we traditionally think of this time of year as a time to celebrate, for some of us circumstances are not necessarily cooperating with that sentiment. As you celebrate Hanukkah this year, please take this letter as a personal request from us to attend the MAZON fundraising dinner on Monday, Dec. 22 — it’s a way to enjoy the season as well as a way to help those who don’t know where their next meal is coming from.
