Albert Jaffe

Albert Jaffe died on Thursday, April 5 at the age of 88. He was born in Fall River, Mass. on June 28, 1918 to Samuel and Tillie Jaffe, who had come from Minsk, Russia. He was the youngest of 10 siblings.
After many years as a retail shoe merchant in a family business, Albert retired at the age of 69. His retirement lasted two weeks, upon which he was hired by Target in Bellevue, where he worked for the next 18 years. For the last 38 years, Albert resided in Bellevue.
Albert will be remembered as a loving and devoted father, dedicated husband, wonderful grandfather, a great friend and animal lover. He never complained and never had a bad word for anyone in his almost 89 years.
Albert Jaffe was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Adele (Kezner) Jaffe. He is survived by his brother Irv (Gert) Jaffe; brother-in-law George (Mae) Kezner; children Therese, Lonnie (Trish), Norman and Harvey; grandchildren David, Marcelle, Madison, Alison, Julianne; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Huck.
Albert’s funeral was held at Herzl Memorial Park on April 8. Memorials may be sent to the Humane Society.
