George will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah on June 27, 2009 at Temple B’nai Torah in Bellevue.
George is the son of Lance and C.J. Silver of Issaquah and the brother of Rachel Moriah Silver. His grandparents are Jack Silver of Sedona, Ariz., Byron and Ella Walton of Cle Elum, and the late Daisy Crown-Silver-Freehling.
George is a student at Maywood Middle School. He is a jazz, rock and orchestra musician who plays double bass, electric bass and guitar. For his mitzvah project, George is mentoring younger musicians.
