Leon Isaac Varon died on Sunday, October 7, 2007. He was born in Seattle on May 15, 1926. He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He then returned home to join his brother Harry, at Varon’s Kosher Meats, where he served the Jewish community for over 30 years.
Leon was preceded in death by his devoted wife Jacky. He is survived by his three children, Isaac, Sandy, and Beth-Ann; his adored grandson Judah; his brother Harry and sisters Anne Israel and Esther Bertram; and his beloved Nancy Sinsheim.
