Sara will celebrate her Bat Mitzvah on August 7, 2010 at Temple Beth Am in Seattle.
Sara is the daughter of Edward and Rabbi Allison Flash of Newcastle and the sister of Adam and Daniel. Her grandparents are Ed and Sue Shulkin of Studio City, Calif., Phil Flash of Mercer Island and the late Claire Flash.
Sara is entering the 7th grade at Maywood Middle School. Her interests include swimming, art, photography, and running. She also plays flute and piano. For her mitzvah project, Sara planted a garden at the Ronald McDonald House.
