Taryn will celebrate her Bat Mitzvah on July 4, 2009 at Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation on Mercer Island.
Taryn is the daughter of Ian and Dana Weiner of Mercer Island and the sister of Kira. Her grandparents are Cooksie and Lionel Kramer of Kirkland, Eda Weiner of Johannesburg, South Africa and the late Max Weiner.
Taryn is a student at the Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle. She is on the competition team at Backstage Dance Studio and loves to dance. She also enjoys reading, writing, listening to music and hanging out with friends. For her mitzvah project, she is raising funds for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
