Where histories intersect — on film

Katinka Kraft, originally from Berlin, is the granddaughter of a Nazi soldier. Michal Blum is a fourth-generation Jewish Seattleite who grew up with Temple B’nai Torah. The two met seven years ago while studying performing arts at Fairhaven College in Bellingham. They became friends and began talking about doing a project that would explore the parallel worlds of their respective family lineages and tell their personal stories. But they never got the project off the ground.
